DR. HILTON SUTTON
Though I followed the teaching ministry of Dr. Sutton,
I wasn’t close to him until the late eighties. We have grown closer and closer together. I consider him my dad and, in fact, the only spiritual dad I have left. His dedication to truth and the Word of God is ingrained in me now. I thank God for that. We feel so grateful to have this great elderly statesman in our life.
One day my friend Kenneth Copeland (what a great man of God) said to me,“You have been given these great fathers because your call is so great.”

TWO CASE HISTORIES
1. Mr. Edwards, a godly Englishman, married a beautiful Christian woman. Their son migrated to America and here became the progenitor of numerous offspring of which the careers of 1,344 persons have been traced. Of these:
• 295werecollegegraduates.
• 14werecollegeprofessors.
• 65werecollegepresidents.
• 186wereministersofthegospel. • 101werelawyers.
• 86weresenators.
• 3werecongressmen.
• 40werejudges.
• 1wasVicePresidentoftheUnitedStates.
• 75werelaymenandSundayschoolteachers.
In the entire record of Edwards’ family, none were ever arrested or tried for a crime.

2. In the year 1877, they took a case in the state of
New York. A very licentious and profane man by the name of Jutes married a woman of like character. From this union there sprang 1900 descendants. Of these:
• 771werecriminals.
• 250otherswerearrestedandtriedforvarious
crimes.
• 60 were thieves and spent 120 years in prison.
• 39wereconvictedofmurder.
• 40ofthewomenwereknowntohave
venereal diseases.
• 10onlyofJutes’progenyeverlearnedatrade,
and this they did in jail (so there is some benefit in being in jail!).
Altogether his descendants spent 1300 years in prison.
Wow! It sure pays to live in the Word and live a godly lifestyle.
