Isaiah 60:2
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
An important part of my husband’s commission is to warn God’s people about things to come and help them prepare. The worst time of calamity for the Church is coming upon us. Who wants to predict this? We are optimists, not pessimists. However, we would be negligent in our call and derelict in our duties if we did not voice to the body of Christ what the Lord is saying to us. It is not a day to be fearful or isolated. It is a day to draw close to God and obey His Word. ItisadaytodoallGodhascalledustodo. Itisadaytocry out to God and be one of those who walks in His ways.
Many of our largest, fastest-growing churches in America are teaching our people to stay away from the very things that make them strong. For example, the Bible teaches us that faith is the victory that overcomes this world (1 John 5:4). Faith comes by hearing the Word of God preached (Rom. 10:17), yet many churches have cut back on the preaching and have even replaced it with other things.
